Bananas are sautéed with honey and rum, served over ice cream, and brought to the table flambé- decadence in true New Orleans fashion. Our Bananas Foster Spread, made with rich ripe bananas, fresh lemon juice, and brown sugar, is family friendly while still invoking all of the flavors and smells of its namesake.     I have FINALLY found a banana spread as good if not better than the confiture de banane I can only get in France or the French Caribbean. No other US version comes even close. This is superb.
